Be like the lotus

I needed a lotus flower for a new project I’ creating for my Patreon, so when it’s dry, I can continue :-)

But since lotus came on my path I decided to research the meaning of this flower and sure, it was a timely message.

So here it goes :-)

I learned that the lotus grows in muddy water yet remains untouched by it.

Water is a symbol of the life giving force, all and everything is created out of water, but it is also a destructive force, it can take what it has given.

The pristine lotus flower then, according to Hindu philosophy, is considered proof of the life supporting powers of the abyss.

It is said human beings ought to live like the lotus flower, to be in this world, completely detached and pure hearted, untouched by evil forces.

I like symbols and I do plan to use this one in my daily life, as a reminder not to let the outside world rule my inner world. I’m sure it’ll help me stay centered and focused on the source of my light.
